I've only gone there on the CATs coaches. Last time it was a very slow journey - we stopped at services for what seemed like an eternity and then had to wait for ages for the police escort. Got to the ground about 15 mins before kick off. Train seems a much better option (even with a replacement bus service).

I did CATS last season. No escort...that I remember.  Think we got there 1.30ish, to be met by dozens of police. Not sure what they were expecting from CATS coaches. Terrifying bunch that we were. Not the friendliest reception in the world. Then the usual pat down from the stewards, refusal to let me bring my bottle of water in unless I removed the top.  And the away end's a dump. That walk down the slope and up to the away concourse, like being in an underground car park. The ground looks old and tired. Like the team. And the area around the ground looks like a right dump too.
