Yes you are right their replacements did the job for sure, we didn't manage to get any advantage out of that at all. Makes me wonder if we found ourselves in a similar position, eg we lost Tammy And Alby, what the hell we would have done!!!

Luckily for me I won't have to watch tomorrow so good luck with that. I have been around quite a little bit in December and earlier in the season and was pretty (very) fed up with everything I saw lately I never thought I would say this, but Kodjia saying he wanted to leave after the Villa offer has been a really big blow and not having a replacement to take the load off of Tammy has compounded that. Not really LJs fault the timing sucked and the money was huge. However we moved the ball quick early in the season, particularly at Fulham and they could not live with it. Now we are humping balls trying to hit Tammy or Wilbo a complete change in mindset and I don't understand why. Something has changed dramatically in mentality (players and manager) and now we don't look like we can win a raffle with all the tickets. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's tombola
Lrrr
I'd like to make a preemptive claim for a refund for tomorrows home game regardless of result
MelksRed
Dear Mr L, Due to rather poor form this season would you mind awfully refunding the cost of ones season ticket in case we don't quite make 21st in the championship? I appreciate that I enjoyed many sheep pies and unstirred hot chocolates whilst socialising with the other season ticket holders in my locale (and really enjoyed celebrating the goals we have scored) but somehow I still don't think you've managed to entertain me as much as I'd like. Kind regards Melksred. PS: imagine how good the good times will feel now that we've endured the worst of it all.....refund? Seriously?
Up The City!
If I was refunded for every game I've ever watched where we have lost by the one goal I'd be able to afford a nice holiday.

norwichrobin
We can all pick thousands of results where weve been hammered over the years but I think the poster has a point, xmas a week day etc good effort lads. My point being due to the timing and location of the fixture the club could have laid on a couple of free coaches, would have only cost the players about 30 quid each. ChippenhamRed
Wasn't at the game - was it really a "refund" performance, or did we just lose the game and this is all a load of nonsense?
daored
I agree that a 2-1 defeat shouldn't warrant a refund. However, whilst reading the many replies, how about this for an alternative suggestion? The club picks an away game per season and the match tickets and cost of travel (CATS only) are funded by the playing and management staff. Supporters would be free to travel independently but the club wouldn't cover that cost. Be a good gesture from the club, whether the game would be an Ipswich away for example, long distance on a Friday night or a local game which is likely to attract more supporters (also benefiting the team). Like I say it's just a suggestion, and each player / management staff has the same percentage deducted from their salary , so that's it's a fair proportion.
