City fan 1982 Posted January 7, 2017 Report Share Posted January 7, 2017 Section 82 put out our b team today, a couple out of position, sat in other stands , a couple of new fans from abroad, needed time to integrate and understand the pattern of songs, one up ftront singing on his own , needed someone to sing alongside him. If we were away and only took a couple of hundred we would have a bloody good go too. It seems home fans sit and wait, away fans make noise. Same for all teams. The cheap tickets meant loads who normally don't go were there (with their families often) in the place of those who do watch league matches. People were sitting in unfamiliar seats, away from their mates, and - TBH - we didn't have that much to cheer. Would that be a big day out? Wish people would stop being so patronising about big days out and crowds. Fleetwood were probably as disappointed as we were when we saw the draw.
