Portland Bill
So Forest have approached Burton re Nigel Clough becoming their new manager. With the rumours ( if things don't improve here and we end up looking for a new manager ) of Gary Rowett coming here, I'm now wondering if as an ex Burton manager himself he may go back there. Obviously both of those teams are in our area of the table, so this is of interest to us,
TheCulturalBomb
Amazed to see he has never managed them before, assumed not good enough and sacked years ago
City fan 1982
Forest situation is a mess. I'd stay at burton far more stable
cityred exile
Reckon Nigel willfeel he has taken Little Burton as far as he can , the only stumbling block to consider is the crazy owner there , another florist legend only lasted 7 months ( Stuart Pearce )

Up The City!
Hope he has learned by his Derby experience that sometimes leaving a job your doing well at doesn't always work out.

wendyredredrobin
It all depends whether Nigel is interested in the money or enjoying the job. Forest will pay much more than Burton, but he will be happier at Burton and may not want to take on the poison challis that is Forest.
Major Isewater
Knowing Forest's owners they probably think he won the European cup twice , The League Cup and won promotion to the top League. Nobody tell them.
Lack of Action Man
I think he did a respectable enough job at Derby, despite the sacking. He might do ok for Forest.
