BRISTOL86
So, half an hour in, what are your initial thoughts? I thought he had a very positive debut. His movement into little pockets was very bright and lively, reminded me of Baldock in that regard. He was direct and very involved in a lot of our attacking play, decent touch and impressed at how well he brought others into play, he can spot a pass which is a great attribute in a striker. ploppy
His movement was excellent, could see him causing a lot of damage this season. Worked his socks off as well!
David Brent
First thing he did was run forward with the ball at the Rotherham defence. That was refreshing. I so wanted him to score but he was involved in the goal so that'll do.
tinman85
Liked him a lot. Movement, clever, burst of pace and linked well. He will score goals at this level.
Guest
Between him and Djuric he should have finally convinced LJ to say, for now, 2 up top and bollox to finding a way to accommodate LT.
Guest
Did well. But then he also had Djuric winning stuff and Patterson actually pushing things forward. Id start with that 11 next week. No more 1 up front. Enough
Chairman Mao
Looked good, much better than Djuric, hopefully he leads the line well next season, has got the rest of this to settle in.
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Very lively, I thought he did well and clearly had the crowd behind him.
cidercity1987
First touch not great, a little lacking in pace but should be a good addition.

I can't think of two strikers less alike than Djuric and Taylor. What was wrong with Milan today anyway, he scored from the sub's bench?
Charliesboots
Bright and quick. Him and MD up front next season will be a handful

Pickle Rick
Looks like a £10M player Darrell. Thanks for that £300k steal.

slartibartfast
Typical cheating sag, virtually first touch ,tried to flimp a pen ! long my it continue Seemed to have a lot of "game nouse" winning free kicks and very lively !

Really pleased for Duric to get off the mark as well.
Offside
He looked lively and, along with Duric and Patterson, caused Rotherham some problems (which we had failed to do until those three had come on). Decent first game.

Very harsh to compare one vs the other, they're completely different players in completely different roles. Neither would have been that effective without the other. For two players who had never played together they looked very good together.
And Its Smith
Should have scored but too a touch instead of hitting it first time. Perhaps used to more time on the ball. Agree with all that bar the "decent touch" shout. Well worth a pop at 300k.
BRISTOL86
He had a couple of heavy ones initially but thought it got better and he took a couple of overhit passes quite well!
