...
Star date 8th March. Ditto pre-Norwich, with another game gone (at home) without a win. We have needed four wins for weeks, and weeks go by without a win. Gonna need four more wins, and a couple of draws i.e. near promotion form. It is not going to happen - there is no sign of it happening. In fact, we are in a worse position with Wigan winning, as they are chewing on our arses now. Lose to them on Saturday - which is pretty likely, and we are going to be ******. Special shout out to Lee Johnson for this opportunity. tfj
...
Blackburn and Wolves both in action tonight. Either or both pick up points and we are back in it again. Wolves win they would be four points ahead of us still with a game in hand. Blackburn win they go three points clear. We can look forward to Huddersfield on Friday. tfj

Fiale
Try not to think of others games, we have no control over their results - we just have to win games and hope everything else works out around us, you will drive yourself mad otherwise. No. We need more points than them: they win, and it does not matter what we do: they have the points on the board - we do not. tfj

...
Going to need 48 or 49 points to stay up. That's another 11 points - from the last 9 games:- - realistically 3 more wins and a couple of draws. We have won just two times in the last 10 games - apart from Ipswich - who are safe - only Rotherham have worse form. I don't see 3 City wins unless we become a good side immediately. Huddersfield (H) - Loss Brentford (A) - Draw Preston (A) - Loss Wolves (H) - Draw (they have picked up from a dreadful run - 7 points from last 3 games QPR (H) - Loss Blackburn (A) - Draw Barnsley (H) - Win Brighton (A) - Loss Birmingham (H) - Win Two wins, 3 draws = 9 points = 47 points in total. IMHO that is not enough, and other teams have started winning more matches than we are. We can only beat Wigan and Rotherham. tfj
...
P.S. Whilst we may still be alive come the Birmingham home game, I can see us being down after losing at Brighton. tfj

...
Heating up in the relegation dog-fight. Now we are playing like Barcelona on a good night, I expect some folk will expect a push for the play offs? The reality with teams picking up wins is even more points needed to stay up: looking like 50 now. That means we still need 2 or 3 more wins, even after the recent two wins. We are still totally dependant on other teams results (Burton / Forest / Blackburn win their game in hand = relegation zone for two weeks). It's a four or five-way scrap to avoid 22nd place: Wolves / Brum City Burton Forest Blackburn. Still expect it will go down to the last week of the season. tfj:now, during the break
