Pippintogg
Just listened to Sir Patrick Stewarts reading of the Thinking Poem to motivate his team Huddersfield Town. They made a good start against MCFC but currently losing. Anyway, it is more about the mindset that we as a club need to get out of. As someone else has posted before god know what the club's sports psychologist is doing and wee Lee is having no effect whatsoever; apart from presiding over endless defeats! Huddersfield fan Sir Patrick Stewart's FA Cup team talk If you think you are beaten, you are; If you think you dare not, you don't. If you'd like to win, but you think you can't, It is almost a certain - you won't. If you think you'll lose, you're lost; For out in this world we find Success begins with a fellow's will It's all in the state of mind. If you think you're outclassed, you are; You've got to think high to rise. You've got to be sure of yourself before You can ever win the prize. Life's battles don't always go To the stronger or faster man; But sooner or later the man who wins Is the one who thinks he can! Walter D. Xiled
Nice little video piece. Unfortunately it seems that Huddersfield approached the match without Patrick's motivational words. Outclassed by Man City who didn't really get out of 2nd gear to score five goals. Maybe it's best we wait a season until we're vying for promotion to the Prem. Xiled
This was a good one from Euro 2016. Shame England were so utterly forgettable.
