BBC Radio Derby (they do Burton commentaries) summarised it as:-

• City best of first half of first half
• Burton best of second half of first half

As I see it, we're not creative enough and we're not dynamic enough moving forward with the ball. We are waiting for Burton to open up but they have deliberately set up with a deep back line to prevent us from finding pockets of space in behind.

They looked very nervous and poor for the first ten minutes but their game plan was clearly to contain us for the first 20 and try to get the crowd to turn, which they were before we had a Wilbraham header ruled out by the ref for an invisible foul. Consequently most of the half time boos, of which there were many, were directed at the ref as opposed to the manager. 

45 minutes to get 3 vital points.

We finished the half stronger than burton plopps. If the game ends goaless that decision becomes a massive one.

Make no mistake we are very poor but lucky that they're simply not good enough for this league either.

A worst thought - we draw and Blackburn - Wigan draw (0-0 HT), LJ stays in as we are not in bottom 3 (yet).

So frustrating that the goal was disallowed. The ref has been penalising Wilbs all afternoon. 

We haven't given their keeper enough to do. More incisiveness in attack is needed.
