Finished your stanza for you. Hope you don't mind:

The club as a whole isn't well run
of that I am really quite sure.

vain
veɪn/
adjective

  1. 1.
having or showing an excessively high opinion of one's appearance, abilities, or worth.

  2. 2.
    producing no result; useless.

No 2  seems to hit the nail on the head - no arguement from me

Just explain to Lee that to score goals you must play in the opposirions half and regularly get into their penalty area.  Thats what Bill Shankley used to say.

And Brian Clough used to say that football is a simple game, you kick a ball around and put it into your opponants net - not difficult is it.

For me, play a 3 5 2 formation and stick with a settled team. Dont try to compliment tactics using science or powerpoint presentations, keep it simple stupid.
