II agree with what you are saying, very very true. Which brings us to SL, who is actually the real issue right now, as he is the one sustaining the charade against any logic . The club have not been able to explain in any form what it is they see behind the scenes that makes the continuation of LJ anything but an absurd game of SL saving face. All the public evidence confirms the initial thoughts, LJ was a terrible appointment . It is not the league position that is causing the underlying malcontent , it is the behaviour and communication of the club that is creating a notable and deep divide. The club and fans are not united , and that is in my view criminal 18 months after a glorious promotion. We should also now look at the MA role in all of this, as there are certain traits that were seen at Watford now appearing at BCFC.

You mean like promotion to the Premier League ?

Yep what we need is stability, and not change the head coach every week...but seriously I agree, look at Chelsea if you will, stock pile all the talent and then loan out, I mean what a disgrace, we should scrap all but 20 clubs and turn the rest into amateur football, and the 20 remaining can really corner the market....actually make that 8, the whole of the remaining 84 clubs are irrelevant according to SKY.

There was an article in The  Times in the autumn that listed over THIRTY Chelsea players then out on loan at various other clubs.  So many, they even have a person to manage the progress of the players they loan out.

The sad thing is that very  few of these will ever make a single Premier League appearance, let alone become PL regulars.  The big clubs just sweep up all the outstanding talent before young players sign a contract at 16, then loan them out like crumbs to non PL clubs, before finally spitting the vast majority back out again in their early 20s, when they have failed to make the grade at PL level.

It is obscene that a club should have so many players it can loan out over 30.  There should be an upper limit on the number of players a club can have signed to it.
