Came on with 15 minutes to go tonight. Hopefully fit and raring to go Saturday. England won 4 0

Yeah, hardly got a touch but the game was just petering out really and England were just controlling it.

Still, he didn`t get crocked or anything and the commentator did say that the No. 9 shirt was between him and Cauley Woodrow for the summer Euros so he should play quite a bit. Hope so anyway.

He seems to have a very good future ahead of him

He is a centre forward, out and out, not sure that will have the top teams knocking on Chelsea's door with a huge wedge,  That role is pretty specialised and I think he is just not good enough yet, or even if he has it in him to play at the very top. Just need to keep it real.

19 years old . 20 goals first ever season in the championship. Seems to be a regular in the England u21 set up . Chelsea hold him in high regard. I would say he has a very good future in front of him . I think I'm keeping it very real

Given Conte was reluctant to see him leave the club in the first place this season I wouldn't be surprised for him to stay at Chelsea next season, Costa seemingly wants out, they've seen nothing from Batshuayi so could be some uncertainty around strikers for next season, could see Conte keeping him as back up.

One thing that is really grating on my nerves this season is the fact that we should be threatening a play off place with his goals and not anxiously looking over our shoulders at relegation .

It is a huge waste of his talents.

Imagine if we had of made the play offs, then he's got the euros, poor lad would be fooked

Don't get me wrong I would love him here but it is probably not going to happen. As far as his regular status at u21, he does seem to be on the bench quite a bit, so not first choice. We do here at City tend to go OTT with certain players as far as abilities, but then the media were all over Tammy at the start of this season.

Will probably end up at Newcastle for £10m or similar, which represents good value for Chelsea.

Fair point. OTT or not, he is still 3rd top scorer in Championship and he was out for over a month. Not bad for U21...
