International Breaks - Damning Statistic

After each International Break we have been woeful:

10th September a v Rotherham 2-2 and did not play well

13th September a v Sheffield Wednesday L 3-2

14th October a v Cardiff L 2-1 and were woeful

18th October a v QPR L 1-0

19th November a v Birmingham City L 1-0 and were woeful

26th November a v Reading L 2-1 and did not play well

1st April a v Brentford L 2-0 and were woeful

4th April a v Preston ...............

What do the coaching staff actually do with the squad during these breaks? We have been unprepared, off the pace and quite simply dreadful.

Or perhaps it was just the fluke of being away from Ashton Gate each and every time?

Here is an international break damning statistic, Magnusson played against Ireland in Dublin for Iceland and scored from a free kick but cannot get a look in even in our bunch of losers and especially in place of the hopelessy failing left back Joe Bryan, whom according to our genius manager is going to play in that position at a higher level.

1; Does this affect any other club, or just City? 2; it doesn't auger well for the start of next season after an even longer break.

I don't think you need to study International break form, just look at Saturday's between August and April...............

Be careful; pointing out Mags might actually be worth a shot in our team due to his performance against the ROI will likely get someone after you on here, even despite his exclusion from a game against minnows Kosovo having been used as an opportunity by LJ's die-hards to suggest our head coach knew best in his use of the player.

In the case of several of our players, it genuinely feels like our coaching team have no idea how to work with them, regardless of their quality.

Yep I'm sure LJ and his glee club know best Joe Bryan is totally quality at left back.

After Bryan was played at left back by Pembo at Leeds last season, and got put on toast by their winger time and again, it was clear he's no full back.

The concept he will ever make the grade as one at this level, let alone higher, is bonkers - he's a decent midfielder who needs to do as little defending as he can possibly get away with.

But LJ said he'll make him a Premier League-quality left back, so as with everything the Boy King announces, we'll have to endure his delusion until the whole show has gone up in flames.

Yeah, cos LJ a long history of developing and churning out PL quality left backs so it'll will come true.  Just give him time.  Rome wasn't built in a day.

But it was burnt in one, which worries me.

(realise probably wasn't burnt in one day but what the hell...)

No time to do anything with the squad CR as they're too busy making smarmy videos talking about how great the 'gaffer' is and blowing smoke up each other's arses after an incredibly rare performance of quality against Huddersfield.
