Guest Adrian2017
Hi. Although am not a Bristol City but have a soft spot for them, am a Leeds fan instead. However, the reason I've signed up to this OTIB page is because for the past few years or so, I have been working on a football scrapbook of my favourite football derbies in Britain since the 1970s and have made good progress on it. Already got the line-ups from derbies in Scotland, London, Manchester, Merseyside, Sheffield, Tyne & Wear and the Bristol one from March 1997. However, I've recently just watched the Bristol derby highlights at Ashton Gate from March 1998 (thanks to HTV) on YouTube. I've got the line-ups for both sides via on the graphics on the screen but didn't name the subs who came on and replaced who. I know Colin Cramb came on but not sure who he replaced? Any subs for Rovers came on. Also, am also after the team line-ups and the subs who came on/replaced who for the following derbies: Rumblelows Cup game at Ashton Gate in 1991/92 Season Second Division game at Ashton Gate in 1991/92 Season Coca-Cola Cup (2nd leg) at Memorial Ground in 1997/98 Season. Any help will be much appreciated. I've already had assistance from other club's forums over the past few years. Finally, pleased the Robins managed to avoid relegation. Hope you do better next season. All the best Adrian

gavlin
You should also look at the Gloucestershire professional Cup and the annual derby between the two Bristol clubs. It may seem a minor comp but to the two sets of supporters this fixture meant a lot in the sixties and seventies on bragging rights for a whole year. One of the best was 1969 with City's win at Eastville with a 5-0 dubbing .

WTFiGO!?!
Wish you all the best with your research! Can't really help you though, with such specific info. My main memory of City v Leeds was the league cup tie in 1997. Brian Tinnion scrapping with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was brilliant. We were 1-3 down going into the second leg down here and gave it a right good go. We ultimately came up short (2-1) but the AG crowd and team were galvanised and we went on to win promotion that season. I wasn't born in 1973 so missed out on that
