Robbored
If a batsman is ambidextrous can he change his batting stance during a game? The question occurred to me when the Sky commentators were saying about a bowler being "more effective at right handers"

DKM Len
As far as I'm aware it's ok to do so mid innings as long as the batsman informs the umpires of his intention to do so. This is so the opposition captain can hurry his fielders around.
Lrrr
They can do it up to a certain point in a bowlers run up, its where switch hitting developed from, however past a certain point (think its as the bowler starts their action/delivery stride) its deemed the bowler doesn't have time to react.
