Plenty of shiny heads on show fella, grey hair too, if they've still got any! ;)

Apparently the more testosterone you have the more chance of losing your hair.

:shocking: Being as some of these fellas had very short hair back in the day nothing much has changed.

Ah yes.  I recognise a few of those.  That's Cuthbert on the front left and Bartholemew on the back right.  Proper lads back in the day!

It's been on social media for a fair while Kermit. It's the old boys from the 70's and early 80's. I was going to go myself but had to pull out. It should be a right laugh to be fair.

I try not to pull out of anything

Cedric seated on the right too. Remember him getting nicked by the peelers away at Corinthian Casuals back in `78.

Got transported to Australia IIRC.

And let's not forget Arthur (Big Arth to his mates) and Engelburt who could not make the reunion due to receiving capital punishments.

The story goes that the Bristol South End and Bedminster lads stopped rucking with each other and instead joined forces to take on a mutual enemy that was the Black Arabs, based north east of the river Avon in Eastville.  The place was a shithole then, as it is now.

They knew they had to go to them as the Arabs never seemed to turn up on the streets in Ashton/Bed minster - it was as though they had an underground tunnel into the ground.  Some would come by police escorted horse and cart.  This was before common assault by the Arabs on horses was publicly known.

Anyway, Arthur and Engelburt were top chaps at the time so naturally lead the charge.  It kicked right off.

Unfortunately the two were hanged at His Majesty's pleasure but the CSF was born.

All returned to the Lions and Minors and drank dangerous levels of home brewed cider to celebrate.

I believe Agde Cutler's father was actually there.  As was a young Fatty Wedlock.

Didn't want to start a new thread, anybody got any further info on this trip? Pompey fans seem to remember it well.

Don't know about that game but there was trouble in the ground when we played them at home on the opening day of the 92/93 season.
