054123 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Hopefully Herman clubs will banned from competition after a witch hunt by their own media.
22A Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 "Burnley's pre-season friendly at home to German club Hannover was abandoned on police advice after crowd trouble". How times have changed. In the "bad old days", the Police would have moved in to contain the violence and then hoik out the ring leaders. Meanwhile in the West Midlands, Solihull's season opener was postponed as the ground failed to meet safety standards. This seems odd, surely the ground was inspected earlier in the week?
22A Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Hannover is a twin city of Bristol, as is Bordeaux. It's years decades since City played either. Are we beneath them, or does the idea of twin cities meeting each other in sporting competition never occur to those in authority?

Looks to me like the Lancashire old bill were caught out on this one looking at the videos etc. barely 200 Hannover fans there. Seems very odd.
