Cider-Head23 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Just now, MurrayLives said: Thought they were all home pubs near the ground? Cricketers is the recommended pub for away fans.. lots of City were in there last November when we played them up there.. also Birmingham fans. Just follow the road opposite the away entrance, and it's on the left hand side after a few minutes just past the mosque.

Your best bet for pubs with football showing is probably in the city centre. The Trocadero on Temple Street is a decent boozer has Sky and BT. 5 mins from the station. 15-20 mins to St Andrews.

wendyredredrobin Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I know of more than one person who has got a good beating for wearing a red scarf in Birmingham, so take care and keep anything red out of sight until in the ground and if anyone speaks to you say " yow alroit mite".

You are talking about the 'bill, yes?
Olé Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Missed last year but year before last went to place called The Woodman in the open area they redeveloped for the Millennium, great space away from the shopping, more or less on way to ground if you break left off Digbeth High Street or head off centre just beyond Moor St station to the East of the big shopping mall. Big selection of beer, good food, very friendly, no issues. Plenty of space to stretch your legs outside. Not a football pub but both colours were in there.
