I would say it is pretty much guaranteed

One of the easiest to get to either by road or rail - never any hassle there so people are happy to take kids etc

Waiting to hear about a job that might take me away that weekend...but assuming I'm around this is the easiest away match of the season for me. A bumper crowd doesn't guarantee a result, but it makes for a very entertaining afternoon!

2,100 allocation bit poor, just give us the 4K in one go

Often the case that clubs issue an allocation on sale or return, then extras have to be taken by the away team on a non refundable basis. Hence a trickle of smaller batches of tickets until full potential allocation is filled.

Great price for plus members. Hopefully we actually win this time been three times and everytime we play them away (much like wolves) we are on a poor run and lose. Dreadful game there two seasons ago when we lost last min.

Just bought me and the old man a ticket for this. Managed to book a decent parking spot for a fiver too, just 10-15 min walk from the stadium. Looking forward to ending our 7 game losing streak against them...

The match I look forward to the most every season. More for the ease of getting to the match. Our recent record against Reading is woeful but all things have to come to an end at some point :fingerscrossed:

I have the whole Reading experience dull and boring, no decent pubs, plastic bowl and plastic fans, I'll give it a miss

Loads of decent pubs in the town centre.

Train ticket is booked £20 each way not too bad. Is there any good cider there or have we got to bring our own?

Alot of the pubs down here now have either thatchers or blackthorn on tap but they like to tease you by not allowing away fans in majority of the pubs, tickets requested on most doors now.

Thanks guys. From your responses it looks like I will be bringing me westons with me. I was hoping to get into the Walkabout but it being a sports bar it might not be so easy unless I sneak in the back

Hoping to get my six year old nephew along to this one.  I want to be there when he experiences his first proper City atmosphere.

His little face broke when he asked: "Did we win?" vs Birmingham - he'd gone up the park with Nanna at 1-1.  Heartbreaking, that was.

You need to toughen up mate! Or do what I do and tell him that we won, whatever the score was!

No mate, it was just a poignant moment.  I did explain that if he's going to be City he will need to get used to it.  A tough life lesson for a six year old!

Just been online to look at these and only watford tickets are available. Does this mean we have sold our initial allocation?

EDIT - just twigged its because im not a season card PLUS member. jeez.

I was walking out of AG with a chap and his little lad after Plymouth and the kid was buzzing. It was great to see the youngster so excited.

His dad said he was dreading telling him it`s not always like that and sometimes we lose to Preston on a Tuesday night when it`s cold and raining!

Yeah, heard the car parks are an absolute mare, so made sure to use that JustPark website and booked a private parking space outside some fella's house down a small back road. Will hopefully give us a slight head start.

Been the last two seasons, but Joe asked NOT to go this year....he didn't like the 'atmosphere' in the away end (our end) last year. Hope they sort out the standers and the seaters, because a big away following is great.  Coventry in 14/15 and Wes Brom in FAC in 15/16 were ace away trips.

It was a real mess there last season, part of the problem they were not letting fans into the overflow area so lots of us were cramped into a sold out section and right next to us was a massive empty space, if we could have moved between the two it would have resolved itself.

Am sure I read that reading were pulled up on this by the safety officer. Noticed villa last night seemed to be spread all over both sections behind the goal with neither section close to being full

Getting the same issue from a mobile devices at the moment. When you scroll right down to the bottom as a ST plus holder it briefly shows 'add' but won't allow you to press it as it then shoots back up the page.

Has Reading away sold out already because it won't let me buy tickets online?

Out of our allocation of 2103, the ticket page is showing 1198 remaining

Any locals in Reading or surrounding area City fans? I'm still looking for fellow reds here in Basingstoke. I served a guy who lives in Reading n happened to be a City fan couple weeks back, but it slipped ones mind. Be good to find a crew n meet, go to some games together

Group of three of us want to go but only have 2 season tickets between us so we can only buy two tickets at the moment!

General sale is on 30th August - not sure if any will be available then? Reckon there could be a big influx after the Villa game? Got a hotel provisionally booked so hoping it will be fine!! Don't want to miss out

The point of ticket priority is so that someone who wants to go along for a day out with their mates, doesn't get tickets ahead of someone who supports the club.

I'm not moaning I fully understand that... was simply asking if anyone thought I'd be ok? The person going isn't going for a day out with his mates he travels whenever work allows and myself and the other person hold season tickets.

I would think that Reading probably offers one of the largest potential away allocations in the division, but to be safe I'd get yours and let him get if when he can.

Membership would be a good option for him, in that case.

We got given 3.5k last season so I'd imagine we'll get more when we sell out

I remember we took over 5k, only second to liverpool by about 30 as the best away turn out at the Madjeski

Third highest will still be good, after Rovers play them next...!

Just 48 tickets left for Cricklade Town versus Trowbridge Town this Saturday ...

So you can't just turn up on the day and pay cash over the turnstile...?!

**** that then. Plus it's a 2 hour round trip and I might not find a parking space.

Useless.
