Top Robin
Tonight would be perfect time to just try out something different in the centre of midfield. Pack and Smith have been overrun in recent games so a new pairing for this game may just unveil something that we have been missing. Suggestions welcome. Monkeh
hence the need for a good defensive midfielder who can break up play, we just don't have one

Nobody carries any creativity or goal threat. It's ridiculous. Should have been priority. Johnson has his dad's obsession with strikers.

123456789000
Would like to see some sort of a plan B trial, maybe a 4-3-3: Fielding Vyner Flint Hegeler Magnússon Bronwhill O'Neil Smith Eliasson Diedhiou Pato
Wanderingred
I'd definitely rest Diedhiou. He looked exhausted on Saturday and I think two games in a week is something he needs to get used to. Why not play Hinds, give him a chance to build on his Plymouth performance. BobBobSuperBob
Agree with most here - possibly shelving a cup run chance goes against the grain But Villa 72 hrs later is looking like a marker game for us so I'd pick my side for Friday and form a side for tonight from what's left in the squad

Bo Andersons dietician
Would like to see Morrell get a game. Thought he looked very confident and tidy on the ball when he came on against Plymouth...although admittedly we were several goals ahead already. Looked tired Saturday and we definitely need him Friday so I'd not be playing him personally Maybe have him on the bench for a 10 minute punt at the end if we are level

That's important of course but can't see that lot getting many goals. Think we need someone who's also more of an attacking threat.. someone in the same style as Irvine or Hourihane would be great. Was thinking more in the CM position Pack Hegeler Smith GON Brownhill are hardly the most prolific / creative bunch and if you're saying they cant defend either.... its a pretty bland CM
