One Team Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Anyone go to the Plymouth game? Did the stand/seating lights stay on like last season? It would be great if we can we have the lights in the stands switched off after KO and after half time. I know there has been a thread in the Q&A previously on this - the answer for which was ridiculous - but it does kill the atmosphere. Ashton Gate under floodlights is a special place and having the stand/seating lights on does ruin it.
Admin Phantom Posted August 24, 2017 Admin Posted August 24, 2017 Yes they were left on and the lights still shine across to the stand opposite Nothing has changed
Mr Popodopolous Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Never saw old thread. Is it a requirement from the SAG, or a club decision? Agreed though, under the lights it definitely can be special.
lgbbcf Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I dont see it as a H&S issue other grounds turn the lights off at night in the stands they did at Watford and Brentford ! only this week. It gives a better atmosphere and view of the game.

Lanterne Rouge Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I think our SAG are a lot more precious than others. The trouble is, there`s no standardisation across clubs, they can just make it up themselves.
Admin Phantom Posted August 24, 2017 Admin Posted August 24, 2017 Posted this in the thread last season, simple solution to stop the glare and doesn't affect lights being on. It REALLY needs the club to look into this @Mkelly
