MurrayLives Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 So where's the away friendly pubs now ? I've read the one at the station is now not very accepting of football fans.
Red DNA Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 No idea if it's away fan friendly but best real ale pub in town is the Nags Head, at least a dozen ales plus ciders. Cracking pub, only 10 minutes from train station. Russell St, RG1 7XD
SinéadB Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 It is away fan friendly.. And they have a bus to the ground.

MurrayLives Posted September 9, 2017 Author Posted September 9, 2017 When did Reading become part of central London? Just paid £5 for a pint of aspalls
SinéadB Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 They organise a bus to the ground before and after the game
thatcham red Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 A few City here. Poor cider choice and expensive. Spoons a better option
Vincent Vega Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Get around the corner in Wetherspoons. Gold on tap.
ScottMurray'srightboot Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Walkabout is packed with City, got the man city Scouse game on too

bristolcitysweden Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Pub at the station got great real ale. When we come over in October we will have 30 min. in reading before catching the train to Bristol (coming from Gatwick). Guess were we are heading
bristolcitysweden Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 A couple of Weatherspoons in the city center not far from each other.

I was spoilt for choice for ciders http://www.thenagsheadreading.co.uk/cider/ Also had a bus waiting for us outside to take us to the ground I recommend it to anyone who wants to go next time.
