RaspberryRed Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 On tonight's showing he's gonna be a major asset this season when fully match fit Whoever headhunted & wooed him deserves some credit Edit Probably MA as he's a WBA fan isn't he?
wendyredredrobin Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Sounded promising in the first half from the radio commentary.
Fordy62 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 It's a shame we subbed him off. It was clearly the wrong man.
iamalagerdrinker Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Everytime he had the ball he had 2/3 men on him but got away from them most of the time, cracking asset

formerly known as ivan Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Looked like he was keen to take the pen as well but Fammy had other ideas. Looking forward to seeing him Saturday.

Thought WBA offered him to us, didn't LJ say it was too good an offer to turn down? Saying it would be along the lines of having another Tammy.

shelts Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Good to see the bigger and biggest club not having it all their own way, just look at the table!!
Rossi the Robin Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Looking forward to seeing him Saturday A player who makes you buzz when you see his name on the team sheet

Have to say I was very impressed when I heard that, player with a serious proactive approach about where he goes.

SedRA Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Reckon he's gonna be one of the most exciting players we've had down the Gate for a long time. Ridiculous ball control and foot speed, fast runner, good passing and crossing and intelligent player as well.

kiwicolin Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Can't wait to see what he can do at Ashton Gate.

BCFCGav Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Really rated him since I first saw him play briefly as a WBA sub. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw we got this lad. Don't think he'll be playing in the Championship again after this season, he'll Tammy it.
Devereux Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I thought he looked very dangerous. However he got into great positions a few times and could have put someone in and took on one defender too many. Common thing for a youngster. He needs to learn that his skill and danger will create space for others. If he learns that quickly he will be a top top asset for us
alexukhc Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Great against Reading, great tonight, awesome times
Guest skyclad99 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Albion fan here - I come in peace. Just to let you know that we are all watching Leko's progress with great interest. He is a really exciting player who first broke into our team a year ago. He is not afraid to take players on and get past them, and can produce a killing pass from nowhere. Unfortunately he did not get enough game time in our first team and we were asking to get him out on loan last season as he needs game time. I am really pleased with all of the positive comments you are giving him and I know that he will have you out of your seats in the not too distant future. He is a great prospect from our academy and I hope he does really well for you. We are pleased that you have him. Look after him please..... Best Wishes for the season! shame you didn't beat the knuckle draggers last night......
cummins17 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Think we are expecting maybe a bit too much of the lad to think he will be Tammy quality. Don't think WBA would of let him go if he was Aden half the player of Tammys quality.

Cider red Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Different player to tammy entirely, the lad looks different class so far - just needs to learn when to release the ball and will be one hell of a player.

TBW Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Sounds like he could be an eLEKOtric signing. I can't help it.

Looked pissed at Fam taking the pen. Looking forward to seeing more of him. Looking forward to seeing Eliasson too. Imagine them on the opposite wings! Exciting going forward, shambolic going the other way.

megansdad Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 he was excellent in the latter part of first half but faded in the second. Substitution spot on - very exciting prospect who is likely to change games.
Cider-Head23 Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 I like the fact Leko wanted the penalty shows his hunger, but I think we'd all agree it was an ideal time to get a penalty for Diedhiou to slot away. Having not scored since the opening day it was a superb chance to take a bit of pressure off himself but getting on the scoresheet. Plus I'm a firm believer in whoever the allocated penalty taker is they should take it if there on the pitch.
