I think it's for insurance purposes, that's generally the reason that gets floated around

He has one wrist strapped for insurance?  Why not both then?

Maybe it's an old injury, so he has to keep it strapped to help prevent further injury, I can't imagine any insurance company taking risks like that

Both him an Kodja have the same old injury? Both guys from the same club we bought from? Nobody else here has that sort of injury? Is this some kind of Angers thing?

It's more likely a superstition which they like to keep doing once it had been worn and they had a good game.  Bit like Cotts not changing his pants for months during our promotion season.

Perhaps Angers management classes are needed?

I have a friend who is a doctor and she explained to me that there is a little known therapy which involves the use of bandages ( like a form of accupressure ) .

I have been searching , so far unsuccessfully, to find out more.

I will keep trying when I have a bit more time .

Indeed there is. It's called "shutting the wife up".

he only needs one hand to wipe his bum

Does he have one long finger nail on his left hand ?

I wear a boxing wrap on my hand when I play. Injured myself hitting a punch bag a few years ago. If I'm running full tilt in a game and get tripped I'll put my hands out and don't want to damage it even more.

That said I often joke that if it kicks off I can hit harder with my increased wrist support.

Please note I don't fight outside a controlled sporting environment.

Bailey Wright had his wrist strapped up.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but what is with the wrist/arm strap?

Kodja wore it every game, and I don't get why?

It is a bit odd.

You could understand Darrell Clarke needing one...!

Does Diedhiou hold of his defender with his left hand?  Might be for strength.

I'd assumed it was religious, hiding something underneath.

Either that or he's got a Gas tat.

W**king injury.

Apparently with Kodjia it was a superstition, he returned to the side and found himself amongst the goals following a wrist break.

With FD9, no idea!

Tradition maybe?

I don't know what it is, but I've just got this je ne sais quoi feeling
