locobaker Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Normally go to complete Angler just outside Station. But just reading it now home Fans only
Webzcas Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Drove up last year, very tempted to do the same on Saturday Morning now POTD. Carrow Road is a nice ground.
Taz Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 From the train station - pubs right opposite and up into the centre. Couple of minutes walk the other way and you're at the ground. Train station really is central to everything.
Jerseybean Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 The Coach and Horses is three minutes from the ground and sounds OK: http://www.thecoachthorperoad.co.uk/ I don't know if they welcome away supporters.
CyderInACan Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Gardeners Arms in town is a great boozer
allyolly Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Anyone looking for something a bit different there is The Murderers (yes really). Has photos of well known convicted murderers around the place but is a real ale pub near the centre and easily in walking distance to carrow rd.

The Murderers is the Gardeners Arms I referred to immediately above your post! Top boozer and in about '95 I was in Norwich working for a few weeks and bumped into some Bristol lads who were on Norwich's books in there, needless to say we had a right old crack. Good times. http://www.themurderers.co.uk/

Red-Robbo Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Some of the best pubs in the country. If your thing is a decent pint of real ale and soaking in the atmosphere, I recommend the Alexandra.
