Every week. Never seen him be any different.

Wasnt there today but how many times did he get away with blatant elbowing?

347.6

looked like he was doing the birdie song for 90 minutes

Posted

Not just his elbowing but jumping into Flint/Baker heading the ball with no chance of getting there first or any intention of winning the ball. ****

Didn't go today but seeing lots of negativity about him on this forum. Was it persistant fouling or a bad foul in particular that's annoyed everyone? Doubt they'll show ought on the highlights

When he was scoring more freely in previous seasons he was the sort of player I would have liked at City.  Thank **** we never got the horrible sod who now seems to rely on cheating as a way of trying to get a goal.

Posted

I actually think he's quite a good player. The sort of 'club in the bag' it's useful to have.

He definitely overdoes all the nasty stuff - but Wilbraham did his fair share when he was here too.

Probably the player I despise more than any other - remember him elbowing Flint in our Promotion season , at Deepdale - A complete coward and  crystal like a baby when he gets some back

Complete scumbag - doesn't deserve a living in the game

Wilbraham put himself about full stop, Garner is nasty cheating shit, something Aaron will never be, unfair comparison.

Indeed, one challenges for the ball, the other ignores the ball and challenges the player

Totally agree. I had some respect for Joey Barton (still a ***** mind) as he would get kicked and just get on with it most times. Garner has a sly kick/elbow/jumps into people , then whines like a bitch if anyone gets near him. BTW I thought  during the promotion season game he did (or tried to) Flint twice , utter scum.

Not true - Wilbraham did plenty of toe treading and elbowing - plenty of off the ball stuff. Not nearly as much as Garner but he did do it.

Absolute t***, so much so he should start every game on a yellow card.

The way he was jumping into Flint and Bakes was embarrassing and the referee should have addressed it earlier.

and one after the rough and tumble of a meaty challenge gets on with the game, the other cheat cries and rolls around like a big baby, his booking should have actually been a 2nd yellow earlier in the 2nd half his vocal and over the top show dissent towards the referee  showed have resulted in a yellow, referees seem to be ignoring dissent this season.

The not taking it when it's dished out in the game is all part of the act. And to be fair he was straight over to Flint at the end of the game to shake his hand. I think he enjoys a good work out and will, result as de, have enjoyed hat game.

Spot on.

Fractured Louis' skull with an elbow and then the season after saw him deliberately elbow Jamie McCombe in the side of the head, he was out with concussion for several weeks.

He is scum, I wish someone would end his career.

Absolutely nothing like Wilbs at all, by the way.

He also said he should have had a red card.

True, but he said he's good at what he does. Maybe Lee was just in a good mood and who could blame him.

He didn't say what that was or whether he thought it was a useful part of the game though.

I wasn’t there today nor have I caught any tv yet, but he is one of those strikers that makes his runs for headers from side-on, not caring whether he gets the ball, but more to make a bit (or a lot if your opinion is that way) of contact and put the CB off.  He is physical, dirty, and i’m surprised no-one has sought to sort him out.  The only player of recent times that i’ve seen jump like him was Leon Best for Rotherham under Warnock.  It’s horrible to watch.

Isn't it great, probably since Sean Taylor we have two defenders that love a tackle.

Wright and Baker love it  Flint reminds me of Mcombe huge guys but to nice.

Wright and Baker so love a 50/50 any forward that's not up for that are in their pockets!!!

Its very dangerous because a lot of times the defender doesn't even realise he's challenging from the side, he will really hurt someone one day.

He is also lucky that Bakes or Flint didn't stick the nut on him, lucky for us and him that both were very composed under the circumstances.

Orrible lil rat.

Yep, it’s a horrible tactic.  He runs some risk too.

I know I won’t be popular, but he’s the kind If player you hate as an opponent, but you like at your win club...although I happily accept that there will be a significant majority on here who wouldn’t want him anywhere near our squad.  You’re probably right.

Always hated him since he put Carey out for a couple months. Proper little bastard.

Pack put him out for a couple of months when we lost 1-0 to them at the gate didn't he? Karma.

I was there today and garner should've been sent off after tangling with Flint in the first half.

He tried provoking Aiden into retaliation.

Him and Waghorn were constantly "putting it about"

Ginger scumbag

£1m! Go in to any of her majesty's prisons over the country and you've got someone who can play the same role as him. Nasty little bugger.

Not fit to lick Big Birds boots. Although it'd be good to see the gentle giant make him!

There's lots of negativity about him  on the Tractor Boys forum as well .

Many are just embarrassed by him.

An odious individual who met his mark yesterday.

I posted this on another thread , at least some recognise who a tool he is;

I've seen a lot of moaning about the ref, but in all honesty I don't think he got too much wrong. Lots of niggly 50/50s including Garner and half of them went against him - we shouldn't complain too much seeing as everyone on here acknowledges that Garner is a horrible niggling/cheating type of player who seems to go out of his way to push the rules.
