Anyone see the absolute Neanderthal at the front of the South Stand spitting at the Leeds keeper after they scored their third?

Absolutely disgusting behaviour, hopefully @Mkellyor whoever can review the CCTV and ban this asshole.

Some things need reporting & spitting at an opposing player is one of them

Spot on. Ban for life.

I was pretty shocked by the way some people chastised stewards in s25 etc for checking tickets. Jees, why f and blind at the men and women doing what they are told to; take it up with the club.

Bad grass

If either of you think it’s actually acceptable to behave like that (or that it’s in any way ‘noble’ to turn a blind eye to it) then I pity you.

But im sure you’re just joshing

Anyone see the Leeds fan check on O'Dowda to see if he was ok when he clattered into the hoardings?

Yeah I did, then it looked like another walked by and gobbed on Odowda

I sit at the very front of the South Stand in the middle to the  right hand side of the goal (as viewed from the SS) and didn't see the spitting ( I probably had my head in my hands at the time TBF). Disgusting act though! A few of us sitting in that area tend to give the keeper a bit of stick and have had a good craic with a few of them, but spitting is foul and completely crosses every boundary of decency, in my opinion.

Disgusting behaviour.

Those who are calling you a grass can **** off too. We don’t want people like that in the stand or those who think it’s okay.

It’s not their keeper’s fault we couldn’t keep the goals out.

Mindless, thick idiots.

Didn't see it (in Dolman) and no way condoning it BUT I'd be very impressed if he got anywhere near the keeper from that distance and in that wind !:P

From memory I think he’d gone behind the goal to get a bottle or something, don’t think he noticed the act or I expect he’d have had a word. Absolutely abhorrent.

Anyone know what happened to the guy in the front row of the South Stand who stood up to have a 'chat' with the Preston keeper when retrieving the ball from behind the goal. Within a blink of the eye a steward was pulling him out of his seat, and escorting him out of the stand?

More “steward lacks common sense” news

They are melts to be fair.  We have a right care in the community case at the top of the stairs of E29/30.

Permanently telling people to sit down, clear the gangways etc. but spends his time stood in the middle of the space between the wall and the middle bar becoming the biggest obstacle to safely come in and out the stand.  Tool !!

To be fair we had a different one at the S21 exit last night who was happy to let fans stop and watch when Callum got pulled down and we got that free kick in first half injury time rather than keep banging on about going down the steps. He`ll have that bit of common sense knocked out of him by the Boro game though no doubt.

I left at the end of the 90 minutes (to get the bus, bit that's a different argument for a different thread). He was by the Atyeo Statue still being lectured by the same steward. It sounded like he was trying to put his point across reasonably that the steward overrracted but was getting nowhere as to have a reasonable argument you need to be talking to somebody with the capability of their own thought process.

Witnessed a bloke ripping into a young un in s17 last night as the young un said the **** word when Preston scored the first , Bloke ended up basically bullying him into apologising and belittling him so much the young un looked like he was going to cry !!

My point is swearing happens at football , by bullying the young un didn’t the bloke then show his kids that he’s just as bad as the young un ?

I witnessed that in the South Stand & in all fairness from where he was sitting that lad must have been so frustrated with that pr1ck of a keeper.

Maybe the steward should have escorted their keeper out of the ground because it looked like he was doing far more wrong in inciting the crowd than one lad on his own.

One of the stewards by the S20/21 exit in the first half seemed on a mission to identify as many people to bollock or chuck out as he could. As far as I could see, the guy who got ejected just made the universal tosser sign at the goalie and shouted a bit.

Last season I sat near the bloke who was asked to leave.  He was often giving lip to opposition Keepers and using some lively language.  When asked by stewards to stop he always would - Seen him at a number of away games too. Just think he gets a bit carried away.  Was always great entertainment for my kid who loved his antics.  I hope the club don't get too carried away with any punishment.

To be fair, if you are going down the steps whilst the game is in play you are probably annoying every fan who is sat near you, who can't see. Stewards get a lot wrong but if you are on the stairs during the match, you should be moving sharpish and not half watching the match. I'd prefer it if they did move people on quicker in that situation.

Spitting at anyone is terrible , but swearing at football ?

Thats part and parcel I can’t see the problem there was a few times I swore at ff for taking an age to take a gk ? Pure frustration equals sudden burst of tourets....

I must admit i swore at the goalie when he kicked the ball out of play due to one of his players going down (AGAIN). Hard enough to hit me in the back via the girl behind me who was just dressing her burger with brown Source. Good job it wasn't tomato ketchup or it wouldn't have looked pretty. We were in W15 so a bit reckless.

Deserved a booking at least but after the calamity of some of his kicks probably had an argument he didn't do on purpose.

Always find the steward in W15 when i sit there very friendly.

There were about three people stood in the vom so not in anyone`s way. I wouldn`t be ignorant enough to stop on the steps FFS.

We sit in the front row too. Opposite end to this chap. Spitting isn’t acceptable. Baiting the keeper? What’s wrong with that?

And to be fair Mr Maxwell seemed happy with it. He gave me a lovely grin and as someone else shouted out, enjoyed wiggling his ass.

At the end he simply pointed at the score on the big screen as we wished him on his way.

If we now have to sit on our hands and aren’t allowed to offer words of encouragement then it’s a sad day.
