While City's comeback probably takes the honours for the best one this weekend, in England, in Europe the honour has to go to Shalke; 4 down to Dortmund inside 25 first half minutes and still 4 down until the 61st when they scored 4 in the last 29 minutes. Posted November 26, 2017 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Hate to highlight our Wiltshire cousins but I do remember them being 4-1 down away at Birmingham with half an hour to play in 1993 - they won 4-6... ...and similarly, Yeovil were 3-0 down away at Donny Rovers in the early 2000s with half an hour to play and won 4-5 ...got a feeling our current manager played in that game... I recall Cloughie being up in arms about it and being totally opposed to live league games on TV. Never to the dark side Posted November 27, 2017 Share Posted November 27, 2017 I recall jed Pitman doing an article in the local paper saying only two live matches would be allowed each Sunday So HTV had to play second fiddle after Central/Yorkshire/Granada etc My memory of the match was that Central decided to cover Derby County and fortunatley it was against us. I think that Central had a lot of stick about covering a non midlands team After that Central stuck to Midlands teams against another midlands team although the Monnrakers were classed as a Midlands team by Central. About 20 minutes to go, Huddersfield leading 1-5. Summers of Charlton led the fight back with four goals as Charlton won 7-6.
