GrahamC
Interesting. Think we had to shake it up so soon after Wednesday but the selections of Kelly & Leko are brave ones.
Lrrr
Surprised we've gone with Leko over Eliasson tbh, still looks a good team though. Wonder if we may see Kelly start to get more game time while O'Dowda is still out incase a big bid comes in for Bryan in January, will give LJ a better idea if he's ready for regular football. Subs: Steele, Magnússon, Vyner, Pack, Paterson, Eliasson, Woodrow. I quite like the look of that side. To be honest, I'd say that it shows we have even more strength in depth beyond our 'B' team. Leko and Kelly all with points to prove, feel Leko especially could be a threat.
BerkeleyBAred
Leko......Bailey Wright is going to be busy. Other than that I’m happy. Kelly has Joe to guide and protect him. City 2-

samo II
Steele can look forward to at least two more games against Premier League opposition in January; maybe three if he plays against Watford. Fielding is a big part of the excellent league form we’ve experienced - no way he should be dropped.

BRISTOL86
Like the look of that team tbh. Taylor has more than earned his start. Leko needs to put a shift in defensively.
BLRed
Some pace and youthful determination with Leko and Kelly will help the legs of the team today.

Unless of course he's carrying a knock. Really hope we get a good leko today. Happy with that line up Hasn't Mags started 5 or 6 in a row at left back? Business as usual rotation by LJ imo. Leko has to take this opportunity- he’s here another five months and with our schedule and injuries, he’s got ample chance to kick in and get games. Hopefully he’ll grab this with both hands, and we’ll get the best out of him and Eliasson due to the competition for places.

Fair point I don’t think either are great tracking back but something we’ve possibly be working on in training more? Taylor also will put in a shift I expect. Every player needs game time to get up to speed . Especially one who delivers set pieces and crosses, fine tuning is needed or else criticism follows. Leko needs to show as well . The talent is evident they just need to settle in and start delivering on a more regular basis . Let's hope it's today .

He normally plays centre back and with this one being so soon after may not have recovered totally.

old_eastender
So presume Bailey Wright will be up against Freeman, that could be key given he is not likely to get much help from Leko...
