Fair play to Alan. Nuno, could and should have shown more respect sitting there than he did. 

The point for me is that players and managers alike should be sent to the dressing room when sent off.

If a manager can continue to influence the game from the stands there is in effect no punishment.

Exactly...should have no more influence on the game. What's the point of sending him off? Some managers actually sit high and use technology to give instruction to coach's in the Tec area out of choice. Complete mad rule.

It's kinda pointless sending him off when he still has direct influence over the game.
