The North East is a real case of haves (Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough) and have nots (Hartlepool, Darlington, Gateshead, South Shields, Ashington, Durham City). The last time City p[layed Wrexham, they were struggling and fans from all clubs were urged to support Wrexham morally & financially that day. City acted as professionals and won 3-1.
