They looked average at best, which makes our performance even worse.

Boro do look rather average it is true but they will compete in the play offs; cannot see them going up but with Pulis they at the very least have a chance whereas before he arrived they had none.

Remember when we could all revel in the hope of Cardiff bottling something without having to wank off over Warnock?

Do you really do that?! Ugh! And it’s a bit desperate to revel in the hope of another team’s misfortune rather than realising what is happening to your own...

Having large bags of parachute money always helps -in wages and transfers. Just look at the cash slooshing around the Top 6. You really have to go mad and balls it all up to d a Sunderland. the exception rather than the rule.

Our plan B is hoof ball and if you’re going to play that way, as shit as it is, at least do it properly, have runners and players around the ball to pick up the second balls.

We just look like a side that normally plays football just smashing it anywhere!! That’s our Plan B.

If Johnson doesn’t learn quickly and we start next season poorly Man U and Man C will be long forgotten and he will be under serious pressure. I would rather that wasn’t the case but two horrendous and prolonged runs in two seasons makes me wonder if he had what it takes.

The reality is that he won't, no matter how we start.

As we are all well aware LJ would not be the HC of this club if he did not have a close friendship with the owner and his family.

There is nothing, repeat nothing on his CV as a manager to have attracted BCFC to him back in Feb 16 other than the above.

Look at my post shortly before.

Why present that as fact when there's nothing factual about it? Took Oldham to higher than they've been on any matchday since he left, did alright with Barnsley and was on an upward trajectory. I'm sure the managers were queuing up when we were third bottom with a squad that had no investment.

If irony's not your thing - if you're going to complain about revelling in other people's misfortune, it's probably not the game for you

I’m not complaining but that’s a trait demonstrated consistently by Rovers fans over the years - ie - they’d rather we failed than they suceeded, sad to see a fellow City fan being like that...

Are you seriously suggesting that those 'achievements' would have been enough to attract our interest if his name was not Lee Johnston?

The Bristol Rovers thread has been going long before Warnock ever shagged his first sheep!

Interesting to hear Lee blame injuries for the bad run, resources compared to others , no room to wiggle ...

So that’s why you didn’t use

Woodrow , Engvall , Elliasson , Vyner , etc etc

even when we had injuries

Dear oh dear

Completely agree on the last three, but Woodrow's got more chance of making it as a binman than a Championship footballer.

Nah.

Did our round last week. Ran about a bit but never actually picked up the bin. When someone handed him in the recycling, he accidentally lobbed it over the back of the truck.

They were just a few examples

Dont moan about lack of resources when you’ve signed 30 players many of whom you clearly have then decided don’t rate or play

Middlesbrough is in Cleveland, which is in North Yorkshire.

Middlesbrough was in the historic North Riding of Yorkshire but is not in the modern county of North Yorkshire.

Back to the match, LJ was trying to be too clever with the formation in the first half.  We looked loads better in the second when we started playing more like we did at the beginning of the season.

Tends to happen when you're an away side, playing away to a much more expensively assembled side who have the CONTROL of three in midfield vs our weird 4-4-2 with Reid on the left and two target men.

How much their squad is worth is totally irrelevant otherwise Cardiff would be midtable, the rest I agree with and there is only one man to blame
