Mr Scudamore, Premier League and us (Merged)

scudamore has been 'advising' our owner for some time, but not often enough. we now have the chance to get into the premiership asking the man who used to run it to guide us. scudamore with a clearly defined job at our club would be the best signing we could make this summer.

happy days ahead i hope

Just the sort of person we've been crying out for for some time

I’ve always thoughtf of him as an idiot. He might have part of negotiating good tv deals, but I don’t regard the Premier league as the great success as may seem to believe. Statistics show that it is not as competitive as the old first division it replaceds, and since it’s inception English clubs performance has been pitiful. This  despite the fact it’s easier to qualify, and the influx of overseas players and coaches who are supposedly more technically gifted. Far from being the best league in the world, it is simply one of the best funded.

Paid himself a nice £2.6m salary. Utterly obscene for a football administrator. Gone under the radar a bit today but on the day he leaves the top 6 clubs have secured a greater share of the TV deals ensuring further dominance for them. He certainly came across as friend of the big 4, against a level playing field and treated fans with contempt. Remember his plans for the 39th game...?

Because on the Dunder thread you seem adamant we need it.....

No we don't. What we do have to have is integrity

Does Scudamore pass your integrity test???

They do not dress up as traditional clowns but, for their own amusement, they tease and exploit "human foibles" in order to speak the "truth" and gain a reaction. Like clowns in make-up, Internet trolls hide behind "anonymous accounts and fake usernames." In their eyes they are the trickster and are performing for a nameless audience via the Internet.[48]

Presumably by being "half a troll" Robbored does put on the make up and costume?

What @Robbored does in his own home is his own affair, If some people dress for dinner there is no reason why he can't dress for OTIB :rofl2br:

Although Scudamore looked into the possibility of the 39th game, this was only after the idea was pitched to the premier league by Rod Eddington - it was his brainchild, not Scudamore’s - Eddington was the chairman of a major events company and he was also good friends with Rupert Murdoch, owner of Sky Sports...hence the money angle for tv rights to the extra game...
