It was in, but the ref gave a foul to City before the ball went in.

I was in the front row of the Williams at the time and i heard it hit the metal at the bottom of the goal,

So really he has no moan at all about that.

This has been done to death but..

Ref gave a goal kick, not a foul (which makes me love it even more!)

The keeper then took the goal kick from his 6-yard box and you can see there was certainly no infringement by Sears anywhere near it.

The bloke is a complete orange bell end.

What a bunch of weirdos and misfits to support the stripey nigels.

You had him with his weird orange glow, Colin with his red nose trying to impress the linesman with his spectacle impersonations with his hands and cake loving Jo Brand.

Speaking of Bristol Post articles about orange things, this has to be my favourite article. In the history of the world. Ever.

It's a wonderful and very newsworthy story that just gets better and better the more you read it.

Interestingly, the article is dated next Wednesday, 29 August 2018.

I agree with him personally, it was a clear goal, all our players stop and stand whilst the Palace players run off celebrating, everyone knew it went in so we should have done the decent thing Imo

I also agree that anyone giving him that sort of vitriolic abuse outside the ground just because he has long blond hair and we’ve just beaten his club is an idiot.

The only thing I don’t agree with is that we are a very poor team although time will tell on that one.

I think when he’s on Talksport he talks a lot of sense to be honest, some people don’t like people who tell it as it is, and that’s probably the case here

That kid is a mess, does he have mirrors in his house or even friends that might have a word in his ear !

But the best thing is how they try to look unhappy in the pictures

Pure brilliance @Olé

Quite right. That’s all forgotten now though isn’t it. I sometimes quite enjoy his anecdotes on Talksport but he sure as hell never mentions this little ditty.

I take it as a compliment that we obviously irk him so much, even after all this time. Balls to what he thinks.

Self opinionated wind bag, far too full of his own self importance and likes the sound of his own voice. However when he's on TalkSport,  as much as I hate to admit it,  some of he what he says about the business and commercial side of football makes sense.

But in the the unlikely event of me ever meeting him, I wouldn't tell him that;  I'd just call him a count.

He is excellent on Talk Sport. Said this in another thread a week or so ago. A bit full of himself, but always worth a listen

This is just superb, isn't it? I read it last week and sent it to my mates whatsapp group, seriously questioning whether it was a wind up that was printed by mistake. Apparently he's had his 5 mins of fame on tv this week as well - making the most of it!

Didn't he get 'roughed' up a bit whilst outside the ground having a fag at half time? Some bugger probably ruffled his hair

I was there watching it.  He was stood with Nick Moran (Lock Stock actor) outside the Williams stand.  It was low level pisstaking really.  No threats or anything.  Poor little love has issues...

You never see Jo Brand and John Sergeant in the same room.
