What's even more depressing than the chavvy little oiks causing trouble is the sad cases on here knocking one out that they're somehow in the know or connected to it. Bunch of strokers.

Spot on. Noticing a load of the Twitter lot creaming themselves over this as well. Just makes everybody look ****ing tragic.

Fair play to the officers and local residents who helped clean up that pub

So let me get this straight. A bunch of fcuxing ********* tried to have a fight with another bunch of fcxing ********* and in the process caused damage to a local family pub which can probably ill afford it.

Well done our brave warriors. You’ve made us all proud tonight.

You absolute fxxing morons. You really do not deserve to be regarded as Bristol City fans. You are idiots, hooligans and a disgrace to your community. **** off and never watch a Bristol City game again. We do not want you, do not need you and do not deserve you.

Trouble is Reg is that have our fair share of tw**s that call themselves City Supporters and get OUR club a bad name. In the 60 years of following them, come across them. Easily identified species, cant remember names of past players, get pissed up wherever they go, spend most of the match going for a p*ss, and not watching the game and above all else these brain deado's love to have a go at anyone including genuine supporters

Morons. This has nothing to do with football, it’s just an excuse for the Neanderthals still left in our society to behave like this and try to justify it

Glad some on here think it is all a joke

Deeply sad for football and for City.

Hope you don't regret your attitude come end of the afternoon

So..  because there was violence in pub last night caused by a very tiny minority of people claiming to represent two different football clubs, (or 4 if you are to believe the Dutch involvement) the rest of us law abiding sports fans should have a part of our afternoons enjoyment taken away?

You sound like one of those schoolteachers that would give everyone detention, because 1 idiot couldn't shut up.

I think the chances are that would put more people in a bad mood by banning alcohol.

Why, FFS, are they selling alcohol in schools?

How long has this been going on?

Its okay if they are having it with a meal.

Pink blancmange and Thatchers mmmmm

You think this is funny, do you?

If the booze is 'OK' with a meal, then there should be a wine list.

Can anyone show any evidence this exists??

Think this through. What wine is going to work on the palate after school dinners. A riesling with the blancmange but what to go with the chicken nuggets. And if blancmange is off what the hell do you provide with the rice puding and jam.

No don't give them choice. A can of Thatchers or a bottle of milk.

None of this wine malarkey.

Seriously you are too needy

Hear the escapades went on through the night and got messier

Millwalls ‘Yout’ made their way to Chasers,  where , later , there was a large disturbance

A dozen males from the Bermondsey area were later treated at the BRI

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed they have arrested the 4 local, middle aged women , responsible

Do you think it will help control the violence by insulting the cockney shirt-lifters like this??

Not a good idea.

There are no schools in Clifton. Just places rich parents send kids to get them out from under their feet.

You may well be correct - however unlikely that might be.

It does not get us away from the dual issues of thread drift, and the apparent introduction of wine lists* in schools.

* Even shit schools would have a list of ciders.

Gah! Hooligans: bunch of dicks.

Shouldn’t this thread be in the Non-Football Chat section of the forum, as it’s got nothing to do with football.

This thread has had over 18,500 views since yesterday evening so there is plenty of interest from OTIB members!! Maybe there is a dark side/bigger interest in FV on OTIB than most think.

Will make for some great made up stories in a book about fighting and stuff in a few years, mind.

Or like myself people want to know what's being done to stop it and are hoping there is an update with information on who has started this and who has been arrested?

I hate this side of football, when my dad was younger he was glassed in the head by a Chelsea fan just because he was trying to get away from a fight taking place outside the ground and the Chelsea fans saw him by himself.

As a kid I was thrown into someone's garden to get me out of the way of police horses trying to separate two sets of fans.

There is no place for this in football, if people think they're "hard" then they should get involved in boxing or mma, but that doesn't suit them banshee they know they're just thigs who would get put firmly in their place.

Don't you knock Weston, the Pearl of the Bristol Channel.

Pearl sounds l right.

Natural Pearls form when an irritant - usually a parasite and not the proverbial grain of sand - works its way into an oyster, mussel, or clam. As a defense mechanism, a fluid is used to coat the irritant. Layer upon layer of this coating, called 'nacre', is deposited until a lustrous pearl is formed.

Tried to get a drink in spoons, signs saying no alcohol until 12. When I asked why I was told 18 pubs got smashed up last night so police orders to not serve earlier. Not heard any of this have you?
