bcfcchris2016
Who was the worst loan signing for this club in the last 24 years. Mine is quite recent. Craig Fagan :@ , What a #### player he was. Still he got sent off againest off and that was the funnyest incident last season. What is yours. Guest eviltaxman
What is yours. ← Mine's a cider thanks!! I have to agree, Fagan was a bad decision and more recently the pastyman (aka Caskey).

Guest RedwardsV1
That Harpal Singh we got a few years back wer'nt bad even though we only got him for game where Micky Bell scored 2 great goals, I'd say Craig Fagan was the worse aswell absolutley pathetic

DukeCoxer
Harpal Singh was a quality player. He didnt do too well in his away game cos Danny did his fnny play a winger on the wrong wing thing. WHEN I SAw him at ashton gate he was brilliant. Mark robins was awful, heh jus kidding.
Downend2005
tommy black i seem to remember tommy black being superb down at the gate... i will stick my neck out and say neil heaney was the worst loan signing ever. i remember watching city lose 3-0 at wolves and heaney was an absolute disgrace. Lita For Congo
i have 2 admit craig fagan 2 or tommy black ← Yeh ok mate, did you actually see Tommy Black play? Summerbell for me, another washed up 'superstar'
RedUn
i will stick my neck out and say neil heaney was the worst loan signing ever. ← You never saw Stig Johansen then, and wasn't Zwijnenberg on loan?
The Man In Black
Not quite a loan, but I'll say a pointless one was Tony Hey. A case of many fans saying 'who?' when it was announced his trial period had ended unsuccessfully. It's one thing having a trialist fail. It's another when nobody seemed to know he was even here in the first place
Big Red Rich
Caskey wasnt a loan signing! Tommy Black was awesome and your obviously just picking names out of a hat if you mention him. Its almost as silly saying David Howells...... The worst one: Probably Neil Heaney. Benny hadnt even seen him play, or even heard of him!!! Agree again with Neil Heaney being the worst loan player, Hmm, I bet there's a smilie on here that conveys laughter but I'm too lazy to look for it.. Swindon Hater
Robert Fleck only scored once in his 2 months from Chelsea, although it was against Swindon in a 3-0 away win so I suppose it wasn't too bad!
Guest Edge
I would have to go with clemens zwijnenberg.
Guest DANBOY_BCFC
For me the worst loan for us is last season's scoreboard! Hopefully the old scoreboard will be back to full fitness soon, or even better - a replacement signed on a permanent deal!!
Guest City 'Til I Die
Have to jump on the Craig Fagan bandwagon here. A great one was Lee Matthews, in any of his short loan spells from B.R.I. Outpatients XI. He was class, we should've signed him!
Ray White
Stig Johansen and Clemens Zwinjenberg were both too good for us. The other players made them look rubbish by not being able to step up to their standard. Changing the Subject to the best Paul Mcarthy was an absolute god. I remember when he scored against Watford and did a sumersault. Almost broke his back in the process.
nobby
zwijenberg neil heaney neil madison summerbell harpal singh stig johanson paul mcarthy all absolute rubbish
sirscrumpton
Got to be Stig Johanson for me, closely followed by Mark Summerbell.
Robbored
Summerbell - miles worse than anyone else.He looked out of his depth in the second division and he was suposed to Premiership material.

Cidergal
Craig Fagan by a mile. Don't really understand why he was so bad for us though as he hasn't been TOO bad for Colchester.
Guest Swiss Baloney
Clemens Zwijnenberg was rubbish Tommy Black Rocked !!! cool name to Black!!!

I remember when he scored against Watford and did a sumersault. Almost broke his back in the process. ← He did injure himself doing a sumersault, away at Preston. We were already short of strikers so his injury ensured we finished 2nd to Watford. Stig Johansen that same season was the worst loan signing i've seen, I remember him at Luton and he all the pace of a pensioner. The best would be Toomy Black of David Howles
