Good

Well Played Leicester

Glad the cheating scousers didn’t win that

Like Klopp And was happy to see them win the title

Not so sure now

Cheats

Think it did them no favours, if anything it played into Leicesters hands as the ball was slowing up when Leicester played the ball up top so their players were able to get to balls that would've skidded off on the quicker surface at Liverpools end. Serves them right.

Difference is you are treating the pitch half way through to your advantage

The pitch , in any sport , should be the same for both sides

Cheating

Rubbish. They are the home team you try getting an advantage no brainer.

Fair enough ..... during half time breaks at Ashton Gate I’ve seen only one half of the pitch being watered and tended to....so we do it too?

Anyway, onwards to Saturday - a massive game...

Of course we do every home team does it!

Non story, teams regularly water the pitch/don’t water the pitch etc in certain areas. Most stadia have dressing rooms with psychological disadvantages in the away end.

im also sure this happens in every sport in the world

Dont talk sense on this thread.

This.

Happens pretty much everywhere. Don't see what the issue is.

Rovers go one stage further and have an entire stadium with psychological disadvantages.

Strange - I’ve only ever seen it once  and never at a City game , , there were complaints and claims some sprinklers weren’t working

You can’t even provide towels without making available to both sides

What happened tonight was blatant cheating

Maybe. Next season The scousers could install the pitch on a see saw so that they always play downhill for 90 mins .... home advantage n all that

Wouldn't call it cheating, more gamesmanship given its within the rules of the game.

Not using the pitch as an example but home teams normally have little ways of trying to gain an advantage, however slight. Didn't Cambridge Utd always make sure there was no hot water in the away dressing room? Someone else used to leave the heating on full blast. Someone else with blasting music through to the away dressing rooms.

You linked to a thread on here where someone only saw one half of the pitch get watered,  yet in reality- as said in the posts on the thread- both halfs were watered.
