Kalas Vs Kane

I’m feeling confused right now. Really want Kalas to do well and mark Kane out of the game. Really want England to win and for Harry to bag a hat trick !  **** it !  I’m switching over to Eastenders as my brain cant cope with it :)

Kalas does keep a low profile. Not much media, not a huge name despite two promotions from the Champ in the past two seasons. No shame in forgetting him.

You could say - under the radar...

Can’t help but want Kalas to do well. Like him more than any England player.

Still, Sheffield tickets arrived today so I’m happy whatever happens ?

You’re going to the oldest football club in the world?! Is that for their home game vs Lincoln Utd tomorrow?

Cmon that’s crap mate and just being pedantic, think we all knew what he meant on a Bristol City forum that are playing in Sheffield next week

Pedantic? Me?! I was playing on the faux outrage we get from many City fans when we are called Bristol by others....just a light-hearted jibe on a Friday night.... didn’t want my post to niggle you enough to post the word ‘crap’ - I apologise unreservedly to both yourself and @BCFCGav....

At least he eventually knew his name after twice saying “the number 6”!

Joe Cole can **** off!

Proper winds me up that. So many pundits get paid god knows how much to do no preparation and just rock up, watch a football match and spout the same nonsense that thousands of fans in pubs across the country could come out with. If your job is to be a football expert - which is what pundits are in essence - at the very least you should learn the player’s names! Imagine if you were watching BBC News and Laura Kuenssberg was going on about “that Conservative MP” or “the guy next to Corbyn”

Although I will give ‘props’ to Clive Tyldsley for just name dropping Adam Webster in the commentary.

Unusually, didn’t link him with “that unforgettable night in Barcelona”. Must be unwell.

Most of the commentators (not co-commentators!) do tend to do the requisite research in fairness to them

Good work TK, lowering that price for the summer and trying to put off the Scots trying to sign him.......

Has been way worse than I’ve ever seen him play for us (I accept he doesn’t play against Sterling, Kane and Sancho every week!).

Kalas having a bit of a mare now !

But commentator saying he is Chelsea’s  longest serving player and with the transfer embargo looking like he might get a game there next season.

Totally agree.....at least people like Gary Neville spend all week researching and checking facts and figures before they go on tv - he does his job properly and takes it seriously. He’s a great pundit. But people like Keith Andrews....well, speechless really...and he once spouted off in the press that MK Dons were a bigger club than Bristol City.....I’d accept that Wimbledon FC are a bigger club, but not the franchise fraudsters....and if any gasheads have sneaked on here (yes you!) - look up the definition of franchise before you lazily sling the term at our club again.....

Few million off his price tag.... in fairness he hasn't had a great game. Perhaps theres a reason he hasn't been able to get games in the Prem? That being said I'd still take him tomorrow!!

From a purely selfish point of view, this is great. I realise scouts aren’t fool enough to base things on one half (and it is one half, he was fine first half) but...

- If Chelsea saw this as a test at the top level, they’ll be thinking they should get rid

- It won’t put off people who’ve watched him a lot, but for armchair fans it’ll be “Kalas? After that second half? Hell no

- In short, the price and competition will have gone down a tad. Does that make it likely? No. Makes it less unlikely. And I’d still take the magnificent bastard here permanently in a heartbeat.

So that’s a penalty given away, Lost Kane for another, nearly scored an own goal , succeeded at the 2nd attempt and conceded five ! ! Could it have really gone much worse?

Didn't get sent off...although that may have been a better outcome.

It will be very strange when the squad meet up again, Lloyd and Jay buoyant from a great game at the Gate and Kalas wanting the ground to open up and swallow him at Wembley
