He is still on a very good wage at Sunderland and both parties reasonably agreed it could not happen. It was certainly not about greed on Marcus's part just sensible. Bottom line FACT: Marcus still wants to play for Bristol City. Next season this is more realistic and he has said he is willing to accept a considerable reduction. FACT: Once a red, always a red.
