22A Posted August 26, 2019 Report Share Posted August 26, 2019 A fine Summer's day and most of us are not at work. The lower leagues are playing games today, but not the EFL. Dunno about you, but I'd rather an away trip today than a Tuesday night in (say), November. Last time we were scheduled to play on August BH, was away to Colchester. However there was a music festival taking place in Essex that weekend and the local Constab declared they had insufficient numbers to attend both events, so had the game moved from the BH Monday afternoon to the Tuesday night. As that reduced the number of visiting fans, I felt that CUFC should have sued the Polfor "loss of potential income". Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
