So, for an easy promotion we just need to be like an American sports side and have a number of specific ‘teams’. We have the away side, we buy Preston’s squad for our home side, and we can be planning for the Premiership now!

Yes, because our home form will be a major factor if we want to be a serious promotion contender. Last season's poor return of 8 wins killed our chances.

Anybody out there in FORUMLAND happen to know what the record is for consecutive away wins for us?  As we are currently on 3 in a row, which is impressive.

I don’t know, I am sure it is out there somewhere. In 1905 we had 14 wins in a row, so 7ish?

They're all worth the same points at the end of the day. Doesn't matter how many games there are to go.

Lady luck on our side at the moment but we all know that can change

Hopefully Nagy & Kalas back soon so that gives the squad a boost and adds to our options and strength

if we can keep this run going and get to January in a strong position then there is no reason why this season can better last season but I’m not getting too carried away as injuries and suspensions and individuals form all play a part in a long season

Swansea have just lost their unbeaten run, so a better time to play them than before. 

I would have taken 4 points from Stoke and Swansea and I would still snap your hand off for it now mind.

When you look at the 'expected goals' league table, which is based on creating goal scoring chances, us and Swansea are pretty much near the bottom.

With almost half a team out injured - and key players at that - I'd say lady luck has not been on our side.

Totally agree, and it's our desire, work-rate, and team spirit that have given us the edge.

Our away form in 2019 must be by a good 10 or so points be the best in the league, super impressive, Turn that home form around and you get promoted.
