Sheffield Wednesday v Bristol City Match Day 23

Interesting to see the usual slating of 3-5-2 as negative, etc.

It is how we often play it granted, but it need not necessarily be. IF at least two or the Centre backs empowered and sufficiently mobile (I'd argue Moore and Kalas in our team) DaSilva at LWB certainly is a better outlet than a 30+ out of position Rowe.

Brownhill higher surely would help too. It's easy to dismiss 3-5-2 as negative. Easy...but not necessarily right.

People bang on about a striker but if we can’t sort the defensive basics out it’s completely pointless. That really was Sunday league defending.

We don't seem to be able to string 2 passes together too. Our possession is pathetic. We always give the ball away so easily

Ahh didn't realise people were still going there. Last few Sky games their web site didn't advertise the city games. Have a great time.

It didn’t at the beginning of the week but I messaged them on FB. There’s loads of screens so it’ll be on one of them

Diedhiou amazing then to beat players and cross field pass with left foot to Rowe.

Rowe has cross blocked again. Not the pace to attack the byeline.

It's not just that, it's that they wait so long and wait for the opposition player to close them down before trying to cross.

As Smith stands 10 years off a Wednesday player  and allows him to run at him and nearly costs us a goal.
