There's something like 70 percent of people who make statements who withdraw for multiple reasons including but not limited to

The stress and trauma of actually going through with the action.again

The inability to get trauma counselling related to the events In court because those notes maybe used by the defence.

Peer Pressure

Exhaustion

Detrimental to mental health and quality of life to go through it again.
