Northern Cider Ed
Just gone into 7/1 from 14/1 with Skybet. Only manager movement all day betting wise apart from a drift on Cook
westex red
Be great if true, very unlikely, until SL gets a football manager/coach that runs the football side of things, and makes people like MA butt out and just concentrate on the other aspects of our club the better. I think instead of pussy footing around as we did last time and ended up appointing DH, we need to act quickly otherwise we will lose our Championship status, and all the great work with the stadium and all the other things that have been achieved will be wasted. I’m almost glad we didn’t get tagged in it. I’d be happy with that appointment

Few other bits below. Although Steve did say something about , this day and age we should say the ma nor woman who comes in Could you imagine if Emma Hayes got the job, the fanbase would implode. Enrico can come as long as he brings a bloke called Steffen Tigges with him, he's ripping it up for BvB 2 (16 goals in 22).
cityboy
Emma Hayes is an interesting option. A good record in the women’s game both domestically and in the Americas. However, although I think she could make the switch to the men’s code, I’m not sure now is the time for City to take yet another gamble on such an unknown. It would certainly generate a huge amount of, predominantly positive, media coverage. Like it or not tho, sexism is still a very real part of life though so would she be able to get buy in from the players and/or attract further quality to the club? I don’t know the answer here. I’d hope her gender wouldn’t be a factor in this day and age, but sadly that’s often not the reality.

No disrespect to Emma, but men’s football world is different attitude, macho, misogyny just to name a few. She have to knock a lot of walls down before she can get her message of playing football
