Lanterne Rouge
With Kenny Jackett leaving Pompey, Wilder going from Blades and it being widely reported that we`ve got Karanka sacked at Brum do any of you stattos out there have any season on season figures for how many of the managers of the 92 that were in post on the opening day of a season were still there at the end? It seems there have been a greater than normal number of sackings/departures this season to me.
Ska Junkie
Jackett is because of reasons outside football isn't it? The Wilder one is pure madness IMHO, one of those 'be careful what you wish for' moments. A victim of his own success maybe? If, god forbid, Nige didn't stay, I would be after Wilder straight away. Karanka is a talentless, arrogant, poor Manager for me.

Right, @Davefevs? Cheers mate - if anything this season is below the average then. 38 up to now (including Karanka) v 55-65 in a normal season. It says a lot about the game when getting on for two thirds of managers don`t see the season out though!
Silvio Dante
One thing I’d say is that the pages show all “leavers” for whatever reason, so for example Darren Moore classes as a departure when he was poached. It’d be interesting to split it into sackings vs poaching etc.
