Here’s a sign of hope for anyone worried about losing so many players, as well as a sign to City’s hierarchy - you CAN rebuild a team in just one season. 8 of Blackpool’s 10 outfield players joined them this season, and 4 of their 5 subs they used did too. That’s 12 of the 15 players they used tonight who only joined the club this season. And they look like they’d beat half the championship sides. And they only paid a fee for 1 of them - Yates. Sod this “3 transfer windows” that managers (including Nige) always claim they need. Neil Critchley rebuilt that squad in half a season. They look great to watch.
