Cori-Tap (not very far ) if its open and then a short walk to ...where...key objective wandering down and getting to College Green in 6 - 8 drinks starting about lunch-time

Ziderarmy
Which way do you wish to go? Via whiteladies? I don’t like the Albion I’d go Mall Cori Tap White Lion (Avon Gorge Hotel) Portculis wander down the hill. The Bear Mardyke Mrytle Tree Three Tuns

Markman
Cheers Ziderhead - we were just going to start up at the Village and amble down over the afternoon to meet others around College Green - your line up looks pretty sensible cheers
Nogbad the Bad
I'd meet up in the garden at Channings. Channings -> Quinton House -> Lansdown -> Portcullis. Down the hill and meet up with your College Green mates in the Mardyke -> Bear -> Merchants Arms -> Nova Scotia.
Markman
and so - made the big mistake of sharing 5 litres of Richards Cider before we set off - but thanks for the suggestions we did The Mall Cori Tap wasn't open so hit the Fringe White Lion Portcullis (great pint) I think (!!) we then got to the 3 Tuns and then Myrtle Tree after that it became a little hazy but I know we avoided the rain - it was fine way to visit some great pubs but I would advise against the Riches as an aperitif
