HitchinRed
Funny how the Bristol Bears match tonight at Ashton Gate hasn’t been impacted by the freezing conditions or flooding. Indeed, I’ve just heard the commentators describe the pitch as being in excellent condition.

Intact we then have a women's football game on Wednesday followed by another football game on Saturday, FA cup

You must remember that the Rovers pitch is closer to the North Pole than ours.

As @weepywall said FA Cup. Saw an Accrington post a while back, I think they made a profit of around £3 after all costs. From gate receipts , away team expenses and other stuff are taken out, then they split whats left. Very simplified view but something like that. Open End Numb Legs
As if having the games at Forest Green, Cardiff and Newport also being still on wasn't a clue, the rare event of City and Rovers playing at home on the same day makes it worse as they can't say 'City would have postponed too if they were home'. The forecast is for 5 degC by 2pm. Let's assume they don't have under pitch heating. Why are the non league games able to be played?
