So, in a panic, they strap on some floodlights to the front of the new stand, which has the joint effect of lighting the first ten yards of the pitch at a level at least twice that of the rest of the pitch, whilst also neglecting to light the area around the penalty spot at all and plunging it in to darkness. I had assumed that they would have thought of that and moved the floodlights or something. Obviously I over estimated their level of competency.
