So now they have a new stand with ‘new seats’ and no one is tempted to sit in it…

Looks like well under 7500 home fans bought tickets so far. Almost all of the south stand tickets still on sale and seats and standing almost everywhere.
Disappointing after all the noise over not being able to get tickets for Norwich.
Would have thought lots more would have been tempted by the new seats, especially as it is warming up.

Their fans aren't developed enough to understand the concept of sitting down.....when they're standing, they can stop dragging their knuckles and use them as stabilisers.

Well.... They would be selling out easily if it was not for the Life Cycle Hub hosting a beginners bicycle maintenance course a short walk/ride away the same day.

However unlike the match at the memorial the Lifecycle Hub event tomorrow appears to be sold out.

Adult ticket in their new cowshed is £29 (no wonder its so empty in home seats)

To stand on a bit of concrete is £26.

Third division football and no facilities to speak of.

No wonder they NEVER sell out.

What a shit show , is that gate in the distance to keep opposing fans apart ffs imagine if that was at Ashton gate city & Millwall , might as well put some flowered curtains up

I can't get over how flimsy it all looks.

Might as well leave the gate open and let the opposing fans have a free for all as long as no cows grazing in there come to any harm. Mind you with their record for attacking animals.....................

Just for context, an adult and child (with a membership) could get tickets in the family section of the Lansdown tomorrow for £27.

No wonder they have an aging fanbase and are struggling to get 9000 through the gates each week

Judging by their crowds over the last 50 years, their crowds go in cycles.

They're either shit or ******* abysmal.

Emended that .

The rest are away supporters.

Incidentally, some plum on their site said they had sold out the last handful of games. With an average of 8,041 I doubt it.

They seem to be under the impression that because they've got a new "stand" a couple of thousand extra people will  suddenly be attending games 😀

I completely agree. If they wanted to improve their ‘facilities’, and given their mysterious graveyard archipelago of repurposed and redundant sheds, gazebos and pavilions, then the Carnival of Canvas end was probably the place to start.

Never mind the Great Planning Permission Fiasco of 2023, the idea, these days, is modern stadia (or parts thereof) must provide additional revenue streams. From the images of that overgrown Meccano set I’ve seen, there doesn’t seem too much scope for anything much in the way of Merch, or food outlets. Currently, the Jerk King’s off, but even so, there doesn’t appear to be room for him to swing a bottle of Grace Jamaican Ketchup anyway.

It looks cheap, flimsy and very temporary. It’s going to look very shabby very quickly, which is provably not a problem as the property developing owner will be able to take it down as soon as he has a buyer for the land it’s my guess.

What a bunch of roasters they are.

Dull club - 25K every home game, Premier League and Championship

Exciting club - 7-8K every home game, League 1, League 2 and 5th Division, 23 years below their nearest rivals, 24 years since Championship football, fake fanta, stale crisps, dog meat pasties (containing some strong mind bending drugs by the look of CornishPasty Gas's post up there)

At least Norwich's vanilla is fit for human consumption, comes from a reputable source and has been paid for..........

Big mistake to criticise Norwich in that way. Until they did that, every Norwich fan had Rovers as their second favourite team.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but they are home tomorrow as well kicking off at the same time.

When their attendance drops back down to its usual sub 8k, the one thing that won't be able to bring themselves to say is "ah well the Shit were at home so that will have affected our crowd".

The stupid thing is, they might have kept some of the floating voters if they had thought about it. Take a leaf out of our book, £10 an adult £5 a kid in our new "stand", but no, they are charging pretty much the same as we are for a Championship game against a side with a reasonably high profile.

It's airs and graces again no matter who is in charge, they can't bring themselves to think about how they could potentially pull in a few extra supporters by recognising that they are less of a draw so need to make themselves more attractive.

He's nearer to the truth than he thinks...

The acoustics (in the new stand) were pretty good with the whole ground in song. If that was full it would be rocking.

🤣

See they can say that safe in the knowledge that the theory will never be put to the test.

Unless they mean rocking in an `about to collapse` sense

Just a thought.
That corner of terrace would be completely out of sight of the goal, do they still sell the same amount of tickets ?
Would have been a shit view before, but completely useless now with their shiny "new" stand blocking the view.

Wael as gracious as ever in defeat, imagine what his and Barton’s conversations after the games were like trying to blame everything for losing again.

Very gracious. This is from someone who employs thugs turns a blind eye and has a very haphazard view on planning laws.

Oh, I don't know, standing there you could count the fans having a pi55 on the cow shed wall or poking their nan. It's not as if any of the lemmings are toilet trained yet anyway.
