Numero Uno
Did anyone from Radio Bristol inform Dopey how "that lot down the road" got on today?
Sargent Pepper
Sorry, who are these "Gasheads" of whom you speak? Are they a North Bristol pub team? Yes.
Barrs Court Red
Oh my, after the players finished running on today the music stopped.... Happy days kicked in and out comes dopey. Tin pot doesn't even come close
Cider_boy
http://www.onlybarnet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9897 At least Barnet understand the impressive support the gas have!
Cotham Brow Red
Amazing how the woodworms seem to come out suddenly... honestly they could get a 1-1 against FGR in Munter League 2 and we lose a champions league semi v Real Madrid and they'd still make sweeping comparisons.. Ok it may never happen but they would still make those comparisons....totally in the shadow and they know it.

Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
I expect that ******* idiot Clarke didn't even see the last 20 minutes of their game today because he kept rushing off to find out our score. Tinpot morons. Edited August 22, 2015 by Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
we are always coming for you - we will, for the moment, rejoice in looking at league 1, 2 tables.'here's hoping we draw you lot in f.a. cup that would be just beautiful.... Why don't you lot actually do something instead of just bumming around the bottom division/ Non league, spouting off like a bunch of ****ts? We've had 15 years of "this time next year..." Port Said Red
We all had a good laugh about the Gas having their shirts sponsored by the local pub, like some local league team didn't we? Well I noticed something yesterday that made me laugh even more, the Sainsburys store here in Portishead are sponsoring..... Portishead Juniors! It just seemed a perfect juxtaposition to me . bristolborn_and_red
Just lifted this from the sag forum which was posted on Aug 15th: Kaiser, you make some fair comments. With regards to the Mansfield match - of which I was there (unfortunately) - I can confirm that there were several City fans in with the Mansfield fans. I knew that right from the first half when there was a small section of say 30 of them going completely mental. I was also outside the Wellington pub when 3 of the City fans that were in the away end were personally escorted to their car by the police - I haven't forgotten their poorly disguised smirks. City were there in small numbers, whether you except it or not I guess it really doesn't matter. Read more: http://gasheads.org/thread/3794/steve-cotterill-comedy-gold?page=6#ixzz3jihJX91S One year on and they're still banging this about. Utter fcukwits. There were supposedly Gasheads in with the Birmingham fans when we got relegated, the thick bastards were even boasting about it on their forum. Even if there were a couple of City fans in with the Mansfield fans (which I don't believe anyway, plus Mansfield fans have backed this up) that isnt a crime....the fact so many think that it justifies a pitch invasion illustrates just how hypocritical some of those whinging crybabies are. Easy to sneer at your more ambitious neighbours but don't like it when it's dished out in their direction do they?
Whooooossshhhh
Already 'safe' from relegation due to their win at Wycombe the previous week, the Mansfield game was to be a celebration of their escape. Why, oh why would City supporters go and watch that dross? Boot on other foot.......... if we only had to get a home point against a side with no further interest in the competition, would any of our 'active' noisy neighbours turn up and give 25 quid to our bank account for what is essentially a survival party? Would they bullocks. I still call total BS on their straw grasping

RedRock
Just so funny the deluded few still go on about City being at that Mansfield match. Why think any City would dream of attending their survival celebration party is beyond me. The odds on them ****ing things up were so outlandish that you'd got more favourable ones on spotting Lord Lucan at the local Sainsbury's. Completely ridiculous to think city fans would have been in attendance.

Perhaps the only team ever to be relegated with fans wearing celebratory fancy dress?

Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Poorly disguised smirks???!!!! The horror... A poorly disguised smirk? Well done detective Saghead, that has to be a City fan then because obviously no other human being on the Planet has the ability to move their facial muscles in such a way. **** me, if that's their 'evidence' no wonder nobody believed them in Court. I've also heard about other 'evidence' which includes a section of the away fans winding up the home supporters with chants of 'Going down'...."MUST be ******* SHIDHEDS!!!!"

Truth is you are now one man's toy, one man who could very easily just give much more attention to the many other teams and sports he now has under the Bristol Sport franchise. I know, very well, a number of your old boys and I know how upset and angry they are about the clubs identity being systematically stripped. Like it or not you are just one of Steve Lansdowns pet projects and BCFC ceases to be a fans club many moons ago. Yes, you will have an updated ground to play in and use and will have money to spend but it's no longer generated by the fans and you are not a club, of its own right anymore. Everything is down to one man. Your club has been stripped of its identity and it's down to the bare bones as it is. If you are happy with that then God bless you but I wouldn't swap places with you on the basis of how you are run right now. It must sting to see it happen and be totally incapable of doing anything.
